University Recruitment hosts a variety of events and learning opportunities for prospective undergraduate and graduate students. Not sure which events are for you? Check out the descriptions below.

Undergraduate Events

Undergraduate events are for prospective students who are seeking a 4-year bachelors degree.


For prospective undergraduate freshmen, transfers, and parents
UTA's Maverick Experience give you the opportunity to get a close-up look at what UTA has to offer and to get answers to your questions about all aspects of the University.


For prospective transfers students
UTA's Maverick Transfer Prep Series is for prospective transfer students to gather more information about UTA, admissions requirements, financial aid opportunities and university resources. Representatives will be avaliable at the Tarrant County Community College and Dallas County Community College Campuses. 

Maverick Application days

For prospective undergraduate freshman and transfer students. Maverick Application Days allow prospective students to submit any missing documentation needed to determine admission to UTA.


For prospective undergraduate freshmen, transfers, and parents
Scholarship & Financial Aid Night is an evening event that provides the opportunity to hear a presentation about the financial aid process, requirements, and deadlines.


For prospective undergraduate freshmen, transfers, and parents
Maverick Roundups bring UTA to you. These events help introduce you to UTA's academic and campus life offerings, while including information about admissions, scholarships, and financial aid. We hold these receptions through-out the state.


For prospective undergraduate freshmen and their parents
Senior Academic Excellence Day is an all-day invitation-only event for high achieving high school seniors. You must be invited to UTA in order to attend. The event is a "day-in-the-life" of a UTA student that allows you to sit in on a class, get small group academic counseling or information and learn about financial aid, scholarships, and other information.

Merit Mavs 

For prospective undergraduate freshmen and their parents
Merit Mavs Days are invitation-only events for top students. This event provides an in-depth look at life at UTA; you’ll meet with an academic representative from your intended major, learn about student success and student life programs, receive admission and scholarship information, and take a campus tour.

Graduate Events

Graduate events are for students who are seeking a master's degree, doctorate degree, or a graduate certificate.


For prospective graduate students
The Graduate School Expo is our annual graduate and professional school fair for students considering graduate or professional school. Graduate programs, law schools and medical schools from around the country will be available to speak with students.
